Directions to United Way
 
 

United Way of Broome County's offices are located at 101 South Jensen Road in Vestal, New York, just outside of Binghamton. We are located at the corner of Vestal Parkway (N.Y. Route 434) and Jensen Road. The maps and directions below may help you find us. If you need further assistance, please contact United Way at (607) 729-2592.

COMING FROM THE WEST (Cleveland, Buffalo, Rochester, etc.):  Follow NY Route 17 (soon to be upgraded to Interstate 86) to exit 67 south (NY Route 26, Vestal). The first exit on Route 26 (about 1/4 mile) is NY Route 434. Take this exit, stay in the right lane, and turn right at the traffic light onto NY Route 434 east. Follow this for about three miles. You will see Parkway Plaza shopping center on your right (Kohl's, Target, Outback Steakhouse, Circuit City, etc.). Turn right at the next traffic light beyond this shopping center (this is Jensen Road). Turn into the first driveway on your left. The United Way office will be on your left. 

COMING FROM THE SOUTH (Scranton, Philadelphia, etc.): Follow Interstate 81 to exit 4 south (NY Route 7, downtown Binghamton). Stay on the four-lane highway (it will change route numbers a couple of times) until you go under an overpass, then exit onto NY Route 434 (it will be marked "Vestal"). Follow this four-lane road about five miles. You will pass Campus Plaza Shopping Center (Staples, Applebee's, Olum's, etc.) on your right. Move to the left lane and turn left at the traffic light at the bottom of the slight hill (this is Jensen Road). Turn into the first driveway on your left. The United Way office will be on your left. 

COMING  FROM THE SOUTHEAST (New York City, Poughkeepsie, etc.): Follow NY Route 17 (soon to be upgraded to Interstate 86) to exit 4 south (NY Route 7, downtown Binghamton). Stay on the four-lane highway (it will change route numbers) until you go under an overpass, then exit onto NY Route 434 (it will be marked "Vestal"). Follow this four-lane road about five miles. You will pass Campus Plaza Shopping Center (Staples, Applebee's, Olum's, etc.) on your right. Move to the left lane and turn left at the traffic light at the bottom of the slight hill (this is Jensen Road). Turn into the first driveway on your left. The United Way office will be on your left. 

COMING FROM THE NORTHEAST (Albany, Oneonta, etc.): Follow Interstate 88 to exit 1 (NY Route 7). Stay on the four-lane highway (it will change route numbers) until you go under an overpass, then exit onto NY Route 434 (it will be marked "Vestal"). Follow this four-lane road about five miles. You will pass Campus Plaza Shopping Center (Staples, Applebee's, Olum's, etc.) on your right. Move to the left lane and turn left at the traffic light at the bottom of the slight hill (this is Jensen Road). Turn into the first driveway on your left. The United Way office will be on your left.

COMING FROM THE NORTH (Syracuse, Utica, Watertown, etc.): Follow Interstate 81 to exit 4 south (NY Route 7, downtown Binghamton). Stay on the four-lane highway (it will change route numbers) until you go under an overpass, then exit onto NY Route 434 (it will be marked "Vestal"). Follow this four-lane road about five miles. You will pass Campus Plaza Shopping Center (Staples, Applebee's, Olum's, etc.) on your right. Move to the left lane and turn left at the traffic light at the bottom of the slight hill (this is Jensen Road). Turn into the first driveway on your left. The United Way office will be on your left.
