United Way of Broome County has used many different themes over the years for its annual fund drives since its organization as the Binghamton Character Chest in 1932. Below are listed the themes for the Annual Campaigns that have been part of the consolidated fund raising effort in Broome County over the years. Note that in most instances, the campaign year listed is the year in which the money raised will be sent to local agencies. Usually most of the pledges to donate will have been made in the previous year, but the payroll deductions will have beeen made in the year listed.
